Generality:

This tent is currently the smallest model with a soft protective shell and side opening. It also has the option to install the external changing room (ANNEX ROOM) under the cantilevered section.
It is suitable for two adults.
Its unique feature lies in the side-opening design (folding) without the cantilevered section. This means that, depending on how it is mounted, the tent can remain within the vehicle's shape. In this sense, it could be a valid alternative to the HS-800 rigid shell tent, as it is suitable for all types of camping (free camping or equipped areas).


Materials:

The bottom of the tent is covered with a special breathable honeycomb layer to prevent condensation.
The tent's covering consists of two types of fabrics with the same waterproofing specifications but different weight and thermal insulation characteristics:
- Outer layer: Made of 420D Polyester Oxford PU 2000MM W/P, W/R, resistant to UV rays. Its lightweight appearance allows water and nighttime humidity to slip off easily. A simple shake of the fabric is enough to remove moisture droplets.
- Inner layer: Composed of 280G, a cotton-blend polyester (PU 2000MM W/P, W/R) with greater thickness and weight, offering better sun protection and increased thermal insulation. Even after prolonged rain, the material did not soak and maintained its waterproofing excellently.
If not on a long journey, it is recommended to dry the tent in the sun after rain to prevent mold. If immediate closure is necessary after exposure to the elements, make sure to shake the fabric to avoid water stagnation inside.
Avoid storing the tent and its components for long periods with wet or damp fabrics to prevent mold formation.


Internal Equipment:

Air recycling inside the tent is facilitated by four windows protected by mosquito nets and blinds, along with small openings at the top of the side walls. This model features two large skylights on the roof, protected by a plastic layer and dense mosquito nets, useful for regulating brightness during the day and stargazing at night.
The interior includes pockets for storing items and ample space for linens.
The frame tubes are covered with fabric, making the interior more comfortable.
The mattress has 70% more padding than side-opening models with rigid shells, ensuring greater comfort.


External Equipment:

The soft cover is attached to the tent frame via zips and side straps to secure the load and prevent the thick 550g cover from flapping in the wind while driving.
All soft-cover models come with external hooks to anchor the tent to the ground and correctly position the cantilevered section.
The external cover, as shown in the photo, extends approximately 62 cm, covering the entrance and staircase, adding privacy and protection from the elements.
External pockets near the entrance allow storage of shoes, protected from weather and animals.
The awning's side openings are held in place by harmonic steel poles, keeping the fabric taut.
The telescopic ladder, made of aluminum, folds inside the tent and acts as a supporting pillar for the panel that opens like a book. To ensure proper horizontal positioning and reduce stress on the telescopic structure, it should not be inclined more than 75°.


Tests:

The tent has undergone rigorous testing to evaluate its static and dynamic components.
Tests in rain and wind confirmed its waterproofness. However, sustained winds require attention, as the tubular structure and dual-layer canvas can create a sail effect. It is recommended to choose locations sheltered from the wind and always check weather conditions before planning adventures.
