This creates interference, makes it difficult to reach the bolts, limits the possibility of correctly positioning the awning and often forces uncomfortable or unclean solutions.

FixPlate was created precisely for this reason: to create an intermediate element between the bar and the awning, moving and arranging the fixing point in a more practical, accessible and controllable way.

Easier removal of the awning

One of the main advantages of FixPlate is the possibility of making the removal of the rooftop tent much more practical. It is not necessary to completely dismantle the entire fixing system: simply loosen the 8 bolts that lock the plates in the bar channel by about one turn.

Once loosened, the system can slide sideways along the track, allowing the awning to be pulled out towards the side of the vehicle. This makes managing the awning much more convenient when you want to set it up only for certain periods of the year, remove it to reduce consumption and bulk or store it after use.

How the system works

Each plate is positioned on the roof bar using the upper channel. The M8 bolts with square heads slide inside the groove and allow the plate to be locked in the correct position.
